Description

A vintage glass Lyons ink bottle from the early 1920’s. On the reverse near to the base is the Rd No. 121415. The ink bottle measures 11.5m high by 4.5cm in diameter across the base edge and is in good condition with some wear-and-tear but no chips or serious damage to the rims or outer edges. Recovered from a historic landfill site in Wales, this bottle has dried dirt on the inside which could be cleaned but is actually quite attractive and adds to the bottle’s charm.

An internally tooled pouring lip on the bottle’s rim is an interesting feature and makes it practical should it be used for holding ink.

Add interest and charm to any home office desk or workspace and combine with a vintage inkwell to complete the look.
