A handmade, unique and rustic near-square coffee table made exclusively from salvaged wooden pallets. The pallets have been dismantled and the individual planks selected for colour and fit to create a modern rustic and beautiful look.
The table is sanded, the corners and edges rounded and then treated with preservative to ensure it will be a lasting addition to your home. Finally we give it a clear wax finish to bring out the grain while retaining the natural colour of the pallets used.
The legs are made from hardwood salvaged fence posts that match the colour of the tabletop. These too are sanded and add to the simple and elegant style that Estuary Home aims for.
We have a choice of 2 coffee tables in this style. The first is shown in the opening image and has the 2 distinctive darker panels, the age and colour of which have been enhanced with ‘ironed’ vinegar. This table is photographed with penguin paperbacks to help understand sizes.
The second table has a similar variation of light and dark planks but the colours have not been enhanced and the table top has a beautiful, slightly uneven rustic finish.
Both tables have had wood treatment applied to ensure the wood retains its natural beauty and durability.
